What is cash back?
When you click our link to a store's website, we earn a sales commission from that store on everything you purchase. We then share the majority of this commission with you as Cash Back.
How do I make sure I always earn cash back? (DO's and DON'Ts)
DO enable cookies on your browser while you are shopping. Merchants use cookies to track your purchases so you can get cash back from RebatesMe! Remember, if the merchant doesn't track your purchase, RebatesMe does not receive a sales commission, which means we can't pay you the cash back.
DO click to visit the merchant's website from RebatesMe.
Clicking to RebatesMe from other websites or typing the merchant's website directly into your web browser without going through RebatesMe will invalidate your cash back. Make sure that you don't click any other links to the merchant's website after clicking through from RebatesMe.
DO make sure your shopping cart is empty when you click to the merchant's wesbite from RebatesMe.
In order to earn cash back, some merchants require that your shopping cart is empty when you click from RebatesMe to the merchant's website. Some merchants keep track of when you put items in your shopping cart and if you don't do it after you clicked from RebatesMe, it's possible that you won't earn cash back.
DON'T delete cookies while you are shopping.
We know that some people occasionally delete their browser cookies. Unfortunately, if you happen to delete cookies while in the middle of a RebatesMe shopping session, the cash back will not be tracked. Wait until after all of your shopping is complete before you consider deleting cookies.
DON'T close the store website while shopping.
If you do close the window, you must go back to the RebatesMe merchant page and click from RebatesMe to start a new session.
DON'T checkout multiple times at an online merchant without clicking back through RebatesMe.
If you want to keep shopping after checking out the first time, you must go back to RebatesMe and then click back to the merchant again. Even if you are ordering the same item at the same merchant but in a new order, you need to have a new record of clicking through to the merchant to go with your new order. So after every checkout, go back to RebatesMe to start again and click back to the same store or select a new store.
When will I get the cash back after I ordered ?
It typically takes 1-7 days for your cash back to appear in your RebatesMe account. Some merchants, however, can take as long as 20 days to notify us of your purchase. As soon as the store confirms your order, RebatesMe will email you to let you know that you have earned cash back. If it has been longer than 7 days and your cash back hasn't posted, please "Contact Us" .
Am I buying directly from RebatesMe ?
No. RebatesMe is not a store and does not sell any products. RebatesMe is a shopping service that pays you cash back for shopping online. If you have a question about the products you ordered, please contact the store you purchased them from.
What's the difference between Pending and Payable?
"Pending" cash back means your earnings have been confirmed but the return time (90 days) on those purchases has not yet passed. Once the 90 day return time passes, the cash back for those purchases will become "Payable".
Can I use or buy a gift card and still get cash back?
Sometimes. While it's not guaranteed, you can sometimes earn cash back when you buy a gift card. Check the special terms to see if using a gift card to make the purchase is allowed. If the order is not confirmed in 7 days, it may not have been allowed.
Can I use coupons not provided by RebatesMe and still get cash back?
If you use a coupon not provided by RebatesMe, you may not be eligible to earn cash back on the purchase. Even coupon codes you receive in an email or regular mail directly from the merchant can invalidate your cash back. The merchant oftentimes use coupon codes to determine the source of the order. So even if you click through RebatesMe, but use a coupon code not found on RebatesMe, the merchant will credit the order to the source of the coupon code and not RebatesMe.
